	Story:  Hi, I’m Ginger! I’m about 8 yrs. old & weigh 16.5 lbs. I’ve been with OKYR for quite a while because since I used to live in a puppy mill, I was so afraid of humans. My foster mom has taught me that I don’t have to be afraid anymore. I still get scared of loud noises or sudden movements but I’m so much better than I use to be. I would love to have a family that could stay home all day with me & keep reminding me to go outside to do my business. I’m still working on this housebreaking thing. I get along well with other dogs but I really like to just lay around & look pretty! I don’t really care for kids since they make sudden movements & get loud sometimes. My foster mom has me pretty spoiled so if you would like to spoil me too, fill out the adoption application & mark it for Ginger!

	Story: Well hello! My name is Boston. The people here think i'm a yorkie/schnauzer mix but i'll never tell. I'd like to tell you my story if you have a minute to listen. You see, OKYR went to the shelter to pick up a yorkie.. I had already been given my expiration date.. With that being said, i had pretty much just given up on life.. I just sat in my cell waiting to die... When the person from OKYR walked by me she looked past all of the fleas and ticks that covered my entire body and said i could come too. Then the best thing happened, i was saved! They took me home, gave me a bath, and got rid of all those bugs! I'm a little shy of people still due to my past experiences but i'm learning very quickly. I'm looking for a home that i can call my home! I could really get use to having a family that wants me around and wants to love and love on me! Do you think that you can give me the life i've never had??
