OKYR went to the capitol today to visit with Senators before they voted on SB 1712. We passed out treats and asked for support to gain some accountability for the puppy mills in our state. We want to extend a special thanks to Senator Anderson and Representative Denney for authoring the bill! They have both worked so hard to get something passed to help us manage this “black eye” in Oklahoma.
Now, it’s time to contact the No voters from today and tell them how we feel about them not supporting SB 1712:

We encourage you to contact your Senators and express yourself but be respectful at the same time. We have a source that informed us that the “breeders” made an appearance at the capitol and had some very inappropriate ways of expressing themselves!! Let’s make sure we show them how we feel but with CLASS!!
